Spring into Meowrch!: March 2025 Kitty Konnection
Happy Meowrch (March), yall!
I hope everyone has been enjoying the sun and warmth (for now) now that we are coming into the Spring season!
As many of you likely know, the Prince Kitty family has been moving, so our social media has been on a break. The Kittrio is active as always and are figuring out the best corners of our new home for their afternoon naps- although they still prefer to be on the desk. They really are workaholics, but they know how to take time for rest, too!
**Which, by the way- if you are looking to buy a house or sell or I guess do whatever you need with real estate- I personally recommend River Fox Realty! Elexis Braxton Coleman fought hard to get me my favorite house and dealt with my virgo needs during the process of buying my first home (she even engaged with my google doc/ thought process doc so clearly that was a win all around!) and Cass Proffitt (they are also a part of The Glitterjaw Queer Podcast Collective so check them out there outside of housing needs!) came in hot with the closing and transactional pieces! Alex Brown was a superstar with Village Bank Mortgage who was not only able to talk me through the financial understanding in a friendly and accessible way, but he made the closing extra special with NA champagne for me to toast with!
We know there is a lot of distress in the world right now and the political climate is WILDLY F*C*ed. Remember that we are in this together. Stay informed with the real information- because there is a lot of information being spread to bring people into panic. It's okay to be worried, scared, enraged, grieving, etc.- it's okay to feel however you are feeling right now because there is no real guide to navigating the unpredictability that is going on (but there are a few online guides you can find in the Collective Trauma section in Angelica's Self Care Space.
As we get back into our routine *let me get some cheer from fellow neurodivergents out there who also thrive on routine*, we wanted to remind you of what to expect from social media.
Our typical weekly posting schedule looks like the following (subject to change based on content, what's going on in this world of ours, and what is going on in the lives of us here at Prince Kitty Co, LLC!):
Monday- Mutuality Mondays- quick tips and reminders for ways to be in community
Tuesday- Kitties Care Tuesdays- words of wisdom from Yin Yang, Dewart, and Galelea
Wednesday- Which Cat Wednesdays- a game where you have to guess which cat is the kitty culprit of the activity or characteristic of the week
Friday- Feline It Fridays- another pun, yes! (you know... like, feeling it, but FELINE it?!) Join us for a short video where we engage in a craft or activity and talk about self-care. We want to highlight creators in the queer community so if you have a craft you'd like to do while talking about self-care, let me know!
Sunday- Sunday CAREies- like Sunday scaries but instead its reminders about things being okay as they are!
Upcoming Collaborations:
April 20th, 2025 from 2-7 pm at Studio Two Three: 109 W 15th St., Richmond VA 23224
Don't forget our quickly approaching collaboration with Circle Square salon and Health Brigade to take place the day before the Trans Day of Visibility! Join us for affirming hair cuts, waxes, washes, and styles while exploring the spectrum of identity empowerment and self-love. Prince Kitty will be in the salon all day providing space to talk and explore the mental/emotional side of identity, Health Brigade will provide support on the medical journey and health support, while Circle Square provides affirmation surrounding the physical side (of course, they all impact each other). We will host short workshops and activities throughout the day in addition to being available to chat alongside Health Brigade and legal policy information. Book your appointment ahead of time and show up any time for activities and community.

Us Giving Richmond Connections (UGRC): UGRC programs include UGRC's premier program, BLACK PRIDE RVA and our annual COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR , both of which aim to bring people together, uplift marginalized voices, and encourage physical and mental well-being. Prince Kitty Co will have a table at the upcoming Community Health Fair to share resources and activities with you!

Feel Good RVA: Feel Good RVA's mission is to give our community moments of peace in this chaotic life. A little safe haven, where you can see there are other adults out there working on themselves in some of the same ways that you are. Prince Kitty Co is so excited to collab with them and will be part of the 2025 Richmond Mental Health Week from May 25th to May 31st. Keep an eye out for event schedules, updates, and activities!
Every Table: Every Table is made of a diverse community of people from all faith backgrounds and walks of life, coming together to heal from the ways white supremacy and capitalism have torn us apart. We are a space where every belief belongs. Our collab with Grimalkin Records is not new, but our feature in their Grimalkin Yearbook Zine is!
Check it out and pick up your own copy. This zine can be downloaded and purchased digitally. Physical copies will be available soon in-person at our events and online on our website. Proceeds support our 4th annual Grimalkin Fest in October 2025.
