The goal of Q-CECI is connection and empowering enhanced community power. Quarterly gatherings will be hosted to provide opportunities for organizations, businesses, service providers, artisans, and creators to come together and get to know one another and the goods and services they provide. These gatherings are planned together based on the needs/interests of the collective and collaborators within. Collaborators can host gatherings in their spaces to invite others to see their offerings as a business/provider. The agenda of the gathering is planned with the host and founder of Q-CECI (myself). The purpose will be determined through communication and prior gatherings with participants. We will address community needs at each gathering and spend time getting to know each other and learning more about our businesses/services and roles in the community. Any collaborator who would like to showcase their services can connect with the founder and host prior to ensure their activity is included in the agenda. With showcasing, you can provide a demo, in-service training, exercise, relevant activity, or any way of showing the group what you do and why you love what you do. We are here to support each other and learn from each other. You are always welcome to bring goodies and offerings from your organization to share with others. This can be pamphlets, freebies, beverages, treats, business cards, or whatever you feel would be fun to share as a way of getting more information out about your mission/service/goods/purpose.

Typically the gatherings will be for collaborators to maintain time consciousness and focus, but we will plan 2 gatherings where community will be invited as a way to host meet and greets with everyone! Think of it as a community speed dating where community members can find out more about the services and goods they have been interested in while meeting the people who will actually provide the goods and services. It’s a nice way to make sure a good fit can be found and to feel comfortable knowing it is a safe and affirming space.

These gatherings are not covered by any budget as Q-CECI does not provide for-profit services/goods. All who would like to host an event are doing so voluntarily to share their space and passions with others. Q-CECI will gladly receive donations to support community initiatives and maintenance costs for the website, events, and marketing depending on financial needs. If significant donations or financial support come in, the founder will create a financial report to provide full transparency on how the money is spent. The determination of expenditures will be decided as a collective outside of reimbursement needs.
